Job summary

Hazport is seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Class 1) to join our hazardous waste transport team. The role involves safely collecting and delivering stock from customer locations, providing strong customer service and maintaining regulatory compliance across routes.

A full UK driving license, CPC and ADR are required, with opportunities for overtime and a competitive salary. This permanent position offers consistent hours, private healthcare options, and an employee benefits scheme.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving & Class 1 License is required.
• CPC and ADR qualifications are required.
• Experience driving in a similar hazardous waste transport environment is preferred.
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and managing stock from customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading
• Managing a route per leaderships direction and delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for an additional HGV Driver to join the team.

Your role as Class 1 Driver involves:

• Safely collecting, delivering and managing stock from customer locations
