Job summary

Workchain seeks a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client’s team in Wednesfield on a temporary basis. Starts are depot-to-depot between 17:30 and 18:00, with deliveries of paper and cardboard to designated locations.

Responsibilities include safe operation, loading/unloading, timely paperwork, and clear communication with the transport team and customers, while complying with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 1 license is required.
• CPC qualification is required.
• Digital tachograph card is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

• Loading and unloading goods as required.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Wednesfield on a temporary basis. As a key member of the driving industry, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their designated locations. It is trunking depot to depot starts between 1730 - 1800. It is delivering paper and card board.

• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
• Communicating effectively with the transport team and customers
• Adhering to all road transport regulations and company policies

The pay rate for this role is between £18 to £18.5 per hour, depending on experience.
