• Compléter les vérifications préalables du véhicule et signaler les défauts.
• Assurer la sécurité de la charge.

Proactive Personnel Limited are recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Telford. Due to work demand we are recruiting a number of Class 1 Drivers to join an established transport team.

• Monday to Sunday – DAYS & NIGHTS available
• 4 on 4 off Night Shifts available
• Must be willing to do nightsout
• Unsociable hourly pay rate £1.25 for hours worked between 18:00 – 06:00 and all hours Saturday and Sunday
• Minimum of 8 hour shift

Job Role:

• Complete start and finish times as well as POA
• Update work record by completing manual entries when you enter your digital card into a digital tachograph
• Complete a pre-op check of the vehicle and report any defects using the agreed procedure
• Ensure security of the load, maintain communication with the transport office with regard to delays
• Delivering refrigerated goods nationwide
• Correctly complete all necessary paperwork associated with the work you have undertaken correctly
• Shunting cover when required
• Maintaining good communication with the transport office with regards to issues or delays
• Adhere to Health and Safety at all times

You will:

• Have at least 2 years of driving experience
• Hold current CPC and Tacho Card
• You will have no more than 9 points on your license
• It is essential that you have good knowledge of driver regulations
• You will need to offer flexibility with the business needs and have a positive working attitude
