Salary: £14.80 - £18.47 per hour + premium rates + up to £1,400 Safe Driver Bonus yearly

Job Description

Logistics People are actively hiring skilled HGV Drivers / HGV Class 1 Drivers / LGV Drivers / LGV Class 1 Drivers / Class 1 Drivers for full-time equivalent positions at our CML Telford depot. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the biggest names in the HGV industry, operating the latest vehicles on the market and gaining the best driving experience available.

Requirements:

1. 6+ months UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
2. Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
3. No more than 6 points on your licence and no DD/DR convictions
4. Current, valid DCPC & Tacho cards
5. Familiar with Driver's Hours, Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation, and thorough vehicle checks
6. Carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
7. Comply with on-site health and safety requirements

Role Details

1. Shift Pattern:

• 5 On, 3 Off Shifts Available - Start Times between 21:00 - 02:00
• 4 On 4 Off Shifts Available - Start Times between 21:00 - 02:00
• Wednesday - Sunday - Start Times between 10:00 - 13:00

Pay Rate: £14.80 - £18.47 per hour

Night Premium: Additional £10 per shift for starts between 21:00 - 23:59

Safe Drive Bonus: Earn up to £1,400/year (paid quarterly) for meeting safety, efficiency, and compliance standards

Overtime Rates:

• Mon-Fri: £188.49 per shift
• Saturday: £226.60 per shift
• Sunday: £257.50 per shift
