Job description

Shift Pattern:

We are recruiting for a Saturday to Wednesday shift with the following start times:

0400hrs, 0600hrs, or 1800hrs.

Our Distribution Centers (DCs) operate efficiently due to the hard work of our colleagues who ensure our products are delivered from A to B. You will be responsible for completing vehicle check sheets prior to departure, reporting any vehicle defects to the Transport Office, and ensuring compliance with transport tachograph legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering post to stores.
• Collecting pallets, cardboard, and cages from stores.
• Collecting stock from suppliers or outbases.
• Assisting in offloading stock at stores.
• Completing driver trip sheets daily.

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver with experience in driving Class 1 and 2 vehicles, ideally with store delivery experience. You should be familiar with driving various vehicles such as 33ft, 45ft, and Double Decker trailers.

Minimum requirements include:

• Holder of a full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• No more than 6 points on your license, with no drink-driving endorsements.
• Ability to adapt to significant change and a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Driver CPC Card with at least two years before expiry.
