Job summary

Black Point Recruitment LTD in Stevenage is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a growing team delivering well-known bakery brands across the UK.

The role offers £22.00 per hour (holiday inclusive) with immediate starts, 40+ hours per week and long-term opportunities. You’ll drive multi-drop routes, maintain safety standards and present the brand professionally on every shift.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with Category C+E entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC / Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous Category C+E driving experience is desirable
• Food distribution or retail logistics experience is advantageous, but not essential

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to customer stores across routes.
• Follow safety procedures and drive responsibly.
• Represent the brand in a professional manner on the road.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be a key part of the operation, representing the company professionally while delivering well-known bakery products to customers and stores.

Your typical day will include:

• Multi-Drop Deliveries
  Deliver to a variety of customer stores across different routes. No two days are exactly the same, keeping the role interesting and varied.
• Safety First
  Drive responsibly and professionally while following all company and road safety procedures.
• Represent the Brand
  You'll be the face of the company on the road, so a professional attitude and friendly approach are essential.
• Reliable Hours
  With ongoing work and consistent hours available, you can enjoy the stability of a role you can rely on.

What We're Looking For

You’ll need:
