Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for a long-term vacancy in St Ives. The role involves delivering bricks and blocks to sites across the UK, with early start times and the potential for a permanent position after a trial period.

Days shifts pay £18.91 per hour PAYE with overtime at £25.08 per hour after 9.6 hours, plus paid breaks. Night positions are also available and a full benefits package is offered by the client.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E) preferred.
• Experience with flatbed loads is desired.
• Delivery of bricks/blocks to sites and distribution centres.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bricks and blocks to distribution centres, retailers and building sites across the UK.
• Ensure loads are strapped down securely and paperwork is completed.
• Assist with loading/unloading where required.

We have an amazing opportunity for a HGV Class 1 (LGV Cat C+E) Driver with flat bed experience to start on a long term vacancy in St Ives. This may lead to a possible permanent position following a successful trial period. Working Monday to Friday with a start times of 05.00am

DAYS - Pay is £18.91 p/hPAYE + OT rate after 9.6 hours paid at £25.08p/h with PAID BREAKS.

NIGHT POSITIONS ALSO AVAILABLE

The role will involve delivery of bricks and blocks to distribution centres, retailers and building sites across the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring the load is strapped down fully and arrives on time and all paperwork is completed.
