Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) drivers for a Felixstowe client. Roles involve delivering to hubs and large stores across the country with 1–2 drops per run. Mon–Fri day shifts start between 04:00 and 07:00, with some night outs required.

Fridge or curtainside loads, occasional weekend work, and training on tankers after an initial period are provided. Benefits include on-site parking and weekly pay from an established staffing group.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) license and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience driving Class 1 vehicles is desirable but not required.
• Willing to undertake night outs and nationwide deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to hubs and large stores across the country.
• Make 1–2 drops per run, with day work and start times 04:00–07:00.

Job description

TRUNK RUNS. MINIMUM 10hrs Pay Per Day. Overtime after 10hrs. IMMEDIATE START. We are recruiting for LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) drivers for our client in Felixstowe. Mostly fridges or curtains. Trained on Tankers after initial period. The role will involve delivering to Hubs and large stores. Mostly just one or two drops. Operating Monday to Friday each week, Day work, Start times between 04.00 and 07.00.

Some night outs will be required

Hourly pay rates

• Monday to Friday Class 1 (Days) -
• £19.41 PAYE p/h
• Overtime after 10 hrs - £27.91 PAYE p/h
• Class 1 Curtainside or Tankers. Delivering across the country. Nights out as required
• Occasional weekend work available
