Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for the Skelmersdale Depot. This permanent role offers a modern vehicle, a 5 day over 7 shift pattern (AM & PM) and home after every shift with no overnight stays.

You will transport milk across the network, handling loading/reloading, and ensure safety and accurate paperwork. Attractive pay, benefits and pension included.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and CPC required.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• Physically able for the role and a reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport milk from farms to sites within the network.
• Complete accurate delivery documentation and ensure compliance with safety regs.
• Work efficiently as part of a distribution team, with a focus on timely deliveries.

Are you a HGV Class 1 Driver ready to take your driving career up a gear? We’re looking for enthusiastic HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution team at our Skelmersdale Depot. This permanent, full-time opportunity puts you behind the wheel of a modern vehicle, offers flexibility and gets you home after every shift with no overnight stays.

What’s In It For You

• Shift Pattern – 5 days over 7 (including weekends) AM & PM Shifts available
• As an Inbound Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation

What We’re Looking For

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Pay & Benefits

• Monday – Friday (Days) - £17.30ph, Monday – Friday (Nights) - £19.77ph
• Saturday (Days) - £19.46ph, Saturday (Nights) - £21.92ph
• Sunday (Days) - £25.95ph, Sunday (Nights) – £28.42ph
• Overtime - £19.42
• Full time permanent contract, 33 days holiday (increasing with service), enhanced family leave, life assurance (x2), company pension (company will match contributions up to 4%), uniform, secure parking, and access to Müller Rewards discounts.
