Job summary

Job Advert is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading UK logistics operation based in Skelmersdale. Applicants must have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus a minimum of two years of Class 1 experience.

Rates are payable at £18.49 per hour PAYE including Holiday Pay, with Monday to Friday shifts and start times between 0500 and 0700. No loading/unloading, just curtain-sided trailer checks and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtain-sided trailers.
• Carry out general haulage work and trunk runs across the UK.
• No loading/unloading required; open curtains and check loads are secure.
• Manage driving hours, complete delivery paperwork and daily walk-around checks.

We're recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join one of the UK's leading logistics operations based in Skelmersdale.

Hours & Pay Rates

• £18.49p/h PAYE including Holiday Pay

Job Role

• Driving a HGV Class 1 Vehicle with Curtain-sided Trailers
