Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Avonmouth. £19.23 per hour PAYE, £24.04 overtime, Monday to Friday with flexible shift patterns. Role involves trunking and delivering palletized goods with occasional weekend shifts, around 40–45 hours weekly, with weekly or monthly pay options.

Opportunities for a permanent contract after 12 successful weeks via agency. Requires Class 1 license, CPC, tachograph card, and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.
• Current CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work with 2-3 drops max.
• Deliver palletized merchandise, clothing, homeware, and stock directly.
• Loads are mainly forklifted off.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

HGV Class 1 Driver– Avonmouth

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join an operation based in Avonmouth

£19.23 per hour PAYE | £24.04 overtime | Monday to Friday/ Flexible shift patter | Temporary to Permanent or Temporary.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a range of products

• Day rate £19.23 per hour , Night rate £21.54 and weekend base rate £24.04
• £24.04 per hour overtime paid after 45 hours
• Monday to Friday , weekend and other shift patterns available
• Approximately 40-45 hours per week
• Weekly pay or monthly pay.
• Opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 successful weeks via agency
