Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for an Avonmouth operation. You will be responsible for trunking, delivering palletized goods, and providing a professional service.

Daily shifts run Monday to Friday with flexible patterns; temporary to permanent or temporary positions available. Pay rates are £19.23 per hour PAYE, £24.04 overtime, with roughly 40–45 hours per week and weekly or monthly pay options.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence required.
• Current CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Good customer service and a professional, reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized merchandise, clothing, homeware, and stock.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Trunking work with 2–3 drops max.
• Loads are mainly forklifted off.

HGV Class 1 Driver– Avonmouth

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join an operation based in Avonmouth

£19.23 per hour PAYE | £24.04 overtime | Monday to Friday/ Flexible shift patter | Temporary to Permanent or Temporary.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a range of products

• Day rate £19.23 per hour , Night rate £21.54 and weekend base rate £24.04
• £24.04 per hour overtime paid after 45 hours
• Monday to Friday , weekend and other shift patterns available
• Approximately 40-45 hours per week
• Weekly pay or monthly pay.
• Opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 successful weeks via agency

The role will involve:

• Trunking work, with 2-3 drops max
• deliver palletized merchandise, clothing, homeware, and stock directly.
• Loads are mainly forklifted off
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently

The right candidate

• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
• Current CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Good customer service skills
