• Ensure load is secured before driving.

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our client's Distribution Centre based in Lichfield as a Class 1 Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their career with Temp-Perm potential.

Class 1 Driver

1. GBP16.00ph. (+ GBP1.93ph Holiday up front if requested is GBP17.93ph).

2. Mon-Fri Shifts AM & PM available.

3. Store Delivery or Trunk Runs with Box Trailers (Must be suitable for both).

4. Minimum pay 10 hours per shift.

5. Mon-Fri or Ad-Hoc available Assessment Required.

6. Potential Temp to Perm for the right candidate.

Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities

1. Store Delivery with Taillifts so loading/unloading required.

2. Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.

3. Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.

Essential Experience/Qualities for this position

1. Great work ethic.

2. Minimum 6 months UK Class 1 driving experience.

3. Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.

4. Be professional and presentable at all times.

5. Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

6. Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.

7. No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
