Job description

HGV Class 1 Driver (Walking Floor Experience Preferred)
Location: Kirkcaldy
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Temporary
Pay: £15.00 - £16.81 per hour (PAYE or Advanced Holiday Pay options) - every 2nd Saturday. Enhanced rates for overtime and weekend.

DH Recruitment and Driver Hire Fife are looking for a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to support our client in the transport of recyclable waste. Experience with walking floor trailers is preferred.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

• 
  

  Operating Class 1 vehicles with moving floor trailers for bulk recyclable material haulage

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring the safe and timely delivery and collection of loads between sites

  
  


• 
  

  Performing routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance

  
  


• 
  

  Following all road safety and compliance regulations

  
  

What You'll Need:

• 
  

  A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence

  
  


• 
  

  Walking floor / moving floor trailer experience (preferred)

  
  


• 
  

  A valid CPC and digital tachograph card

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
