Job description

We are looking to recruit experienced Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 6 months of Class One experience.

We offer a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, with shifts starting between 1:00 am and 6:00 am. This position operates on a 5 on, 2 off schedule.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £17.52, guaranteed 40 hours of work per week. Overtime opportunities are regularly available for those seeking to earn more.

As a driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing delivery drops to shops
• Unloading palletised goods using a powered pallet truck and tail lift
• Collecting waste and other items from shops to return to the depot
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a safe and efficient driving approach

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
• Digital tachograph & CPC card
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements
• A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
