KMC Recruitment is helping a well-established plant hire company in Ipswich recruit a reliable Class 1 Driver. The role focuses on safe loading, transportation and delivery of plant equipment to customer sites, maintaining high standards of service.

Working Monday to Friday, 06:00–17:00, you will join a professional team with a well-maintained fleet. A Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card are essential; experience with plant transport is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Licence and compliance requirements: Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card.
• Experience in transporting plant is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport and deliver plant equipment safely.
• Ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and reports as required.

Job description

We’re working with a well-established name within the plant hire sector who are looking to add a reliable Class 1 Driver to their Ipswich operation.

This is a Monday to Friday 06:00-17:00 role, working as part of a professional and well-run team delivering and collecting plant equipment across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe loading, transportation and delivery of equipment to customer sites, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism throughout.
