Job description

HGV Class 1 Driver - Hoddesdon

We are currently recruiting for full-time HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent roles in our depot in Hoddesdon. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, with 8 to 15 drops per day using tail lifts and cages.

Must have experience and a Class 1 license for a minimum of 1 year.
Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts available:

• 5 on 2 off (5 over 7, but one shift must include a weekend day)
• Various start times available

Day pay rates:

• Monday to Friday: GBP 15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs: GBP 17.85)
• Saturday: GBP 17.85
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: GBP 23.80

Nights pay rates:

• Monday to Friday: GBP 18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs: GBP 20.39)
• Saturday: GBP 20.39
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: GBP 27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In-date DIGI and CPC card.
• 2 years Class 1 experience.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful, and organized individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learning new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regulations and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and that orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
