Job description

Are you an HGV driver fed up of not knowing when you re working next? Looking for guaranteed hours with a well-respected company that will pay you what you re worth? Or are you a newly-passed driver looking for a company that ll give you the chance to kick off your career? We re looking for full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to join our client based in Milton Keynes.

Pay, benefits and more:

You ll be working on our prestigious night network contract delivering vehicle parts to dealerships. You ll be working a minimum of 48 hours per week on the Monday to Friday shift, with start time between 1930hrs and 2200hrs. In return, we ll offer GBP18.25 per hour, plus accrued holiday.

What you ll do on a typical day:

  • Making multi drops to secure locations on a nightly basis to deliver car parts.
  • You will be a key holder for each location and will open and close the site for each delivery.
  • There is a large amount of manual handling involving cages, so you must be physically fit.

What you need to succeed:

  • A full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
  • No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
  • A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

We have assessment slots Monday 14th April from 15:00 onwards with a shift afterwards.

You will receive on the job training working alongside another driver.
