Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support daytime transport operations in and around Stroud. You will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, efficiently and in line with legal and operational requirements.

Role involves driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on planned routes, performing vehicle checks, loading/unloading with taillift when needed, and maintaining load integrity while adhering to safety and customer procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Experience using a taillift.
• Reliable and punctual with delivery schedules.
• Clear, professional communication with sites and customers.

Responsabilités

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on planned delivery routes.
• Complete pre- and post-journey vehicle checks.
• Load/unload goods safely, using taillift when required.
• Secure loads and maintain product integrity during transit.
• Complete delivery paperwork and record information.
• Communicate professionally with transport teams and contacts.
• Follow road safety, company, and customer procedures.

Skills and qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
