HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in partnership with Booker Retail, based in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves multi-drop deliveries within tight delivery windows, maintaining safety and customer service excellence.

Requirements include Class 1 licence with 12 months experience, up to 6 points, and knowledge of WTD and Drivers Hours. The team offers training and 24/7 support.

Responsibilities

Drivers required: HGV Class 1 Driver
LOCATION: Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7DX

RATES:

• Days : £20.44-25.37 per hour PAYE accrued and RUP options available

****Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours £1276.79 per week****

****Expected annual earnings £60k pa******

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in partnership with Booker Retail.

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGV Class 1 Drivers must carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
• Multi drop deliveries as well as trunking.
• Planned Average 10 hours shift
• Monday-Sunday shifts 0400-0800 starts.
• Consistent regular ongoing work and job security

• Drivers must be willing to work on HGV 2 as well as HGV 1.
