Job summary

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support transport and logistics partners across North Lincolnshire. We offer flexible assignments including ongoing, occasional, or longer-term shifts with various start times.

Expect competitive hourly rates (£15.30 for 8 hours, £19.89 after) and weekly pay, with holiday entitlement and friendly local support. Prior Class 1 experience is preferred; reliable, professional drivers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• You’ll need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card.
• Previous Class 1 experience is preferred.
• Drivers with at least 12 months’ experience are welcome to apply, although requirements vary by customer.

Responsibilities

• General haulage and curtain-sider work.

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support a range of established transport and logistics businesses across North and North East Lincolnshire.

We offer a variety of assignments, so whether you're looking for ongoing work, occasional shifts or a change from your usual driving routine, we'd like to hear from you.

What sort of work is available?

Depending on customer requirements, opportunities may include:

• General haulage and curtain-sider work
• Industrial and construction-related transport
• Local and regional deliveries
• Day shifts and early starts
• Occasional shifts and longer-term assignments

Start times and working patterns vary according to the customer and the assignment.

What we're looking for
