Job summary

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for regular and occasional work across North Lincolnshire.

We offer a variety of assignments with day shifts, local and regional deliveries, and weekly pay.

You will need a valid Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card; previous Class 1 experience is preferred. Start times vary by customer, and our local Driver Hire team provides friendly support to help you find regular or flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card.
• 12 months+ experience preferred for Class 1 driving.
• Professional and reliable driver with pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general haulage and curtain-sider deliveries.
• Local and regional deliveries with day shifts and early starts.
• Flexible start times depending on customer needs and assignment.

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support a range of established transport and logistics businesses across North and North East Lincolnshire.

We offer a variety of assignments, so whether you’re looking for ongoing work, occasional shifts or a change from your usual driving routine, we’d like to hear from you.

What sort of work is available?

Depending on customer requirements, opportunities may include:

• General haulage and curtain-sider work
• Industrial and construction-related transport
• Local and regional deliveries
• Day shifts and early starts
• Occasional shifts and longer-term assignments

Start times and working patterns vary according to the customer and the assignment.

• £19.89 per hour thereafter

What we’re looking for

You’ll need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.

Previous Class 1 experience is preferred. Drivers with at least 12 months’ experience are particularly welcome to apply, although individual customers may have different requirements.
