Job summary

Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd is a family-run business with depots across the South-West. We are seeking a Class 1 driver to join the Waste Transport team based at Gloucester to haul a variety of materials nationwide on modern vehicles.

We offer competitive pay (£16.00 p/h), day work with nights out available, bonuses, life assurance, on-site parking and progression opportunities. PPE is provided and staff discounts apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Ensure haulage deliveries meet client requirements.
• Adhere to road transport legislation at all times.
• Maintain vehicle presentation and cleanliness.
• Complete allocated work in a timely, productive manner.

With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.

We are looking for a Class 1 driver to join our Waste Transport driving team. You will be based out of our Gloucester depot and be required to transport a variety of materials across the country on modern well-maintained vehicles.
