Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 1 drivers for our Stafford area client on an ongoing ad-hoc basis.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday with afternoons and nights; pay is £18.29–£18.79 per hour PAYE (general + night shift). You need a full UK Class 1 licence (C&E), valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and at least 6 months of experience. A driving assessment may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 entitlement (C&E) and full UK licence.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence; safety-first mindset.
• Be prepared for a driving assessment.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Stafford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts

Operation runs across Monday to Sunday.

Start Times

afternoons and night mainly with potential for occasional days (drivers must be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate

• £18.29 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)

• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
