Culina Group is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver on permanent full-time days shift (start times 5am–6am, finish 4pm–5pm). Most deliveries are to Regional Distribution Centres with backdoor tip work. Night-out occasionally required; overtime at 1.5x for nights.

Join a team focused on safe, efficient logistics across the UK. Role requires valid C+E license, UK Driver CPC, and up-to-date tachograph cards; 6+ months HGV1 experience preferred, with good knowledge of Driver’s Hours Directive and vehicle

Qualifikationen

• HGV Class 1 driving experience (minimum 6 months preferred)
• Current UK Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• Valid C+E license with no more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects accurately
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication and professional approach to customers and colleagues

Job Description

HGV Class 1 Driver- Days | Permanent Full-Time Opportunities

Start Times: 5am - 6am

Finish times: 4pm - 5pm

Available Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Friday Days

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Nights: £15.16 per hour
• Overtime is 1.5x Hourly rate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip.
• Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on customer demand.
• Occasional Night out may be required
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate any delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure and report defects correctly.
• Taking responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintaining a high standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E License.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred;
• No more than 6 points on your license and no DD or DR code convictions.
