Job summary

Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our distribution client in Cumbernauld.

You will undertake store deliveries and collections across a retail network, including unloading palletised stock using a powered pallet truck and tail lift, completing vehicle safety inspections and maintaining professional driving standards throughout.

Early starts between 2am and 6am with guaranteed 45 hours per week and overtime available; £21.85 per hour, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 6 months driving
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points with no disqualifying codes (DR, DD, DG, CD, IN, TT)

Responsibilities

• Undertake store deliveries and collections across a retail network
• Unloading palletised stock using a powered pallet truck and tail lift
• Complete vehicle safety inspections
• Maintain professional driving standards throughout you shift

• Early morning starts between 2am and 6am
• £21.85 per hour – paid weekly

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 6 months’ driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
