Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a 6-8 week temporary assignment just outside Highbridge. You will drive a modern curtain-sided vehicle on warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries with no handball and efficient route planning.

Hours are Monday to Friday, with start times between 05:00 and 06:00. Pay is £16.50 per hour. You must hold a UK CE licence, valid Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with own transport required due to depot location.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (CE) Licence and Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card and knowledge of drivers hours essential.
• Own transport due to depot location outside Highbridge.

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a 6-8 week temporary assignment with a leading distribution client based just outside Highbridge.

Pay: £16.50 per hour

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 05:00 - 06:00
• 6-8 week temporary assignment
• Starting Monday 10th August

The Role:

• Driving a modern Class 1 curtain-sided vehicle
• Warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries
• No handball - all loads are forklift loaded and unloaded

What You'll Need:

• Full UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional and reliable attitude
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport regulations
• Own transport is essential, as the depot is located just outside Highbridge and is not accessible by public transport
