Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for store deliveries of chilled, frozen and ambient foods around Northampton. Shifts include days and nights with start times from 00:00 to 15:00 and approximately 2-3 drops per shift. Ongoing temporary work with a minimum of 8 paid hours per shift.

You will need a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and a clean licence. Weekly pay and full support from our team are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules.
• Reliable and professional approach.

• Holiday pay is accrued Days £22.89 Parity
• Nights £24.17 Parity
• Weekends £24.02 - £25.30 Parity
• Overtime after 47.5 hours worked weekly £34.34 - £36.26 Monday - Friday Parity, £36.03 - £38.79 Weekends Parity, Bank Holidays £45.78 - £48.34 Parity

The role: Store deliveries of chilled, frozen and ambient foods. Approximately 2-3 drops per shift/length of shift. Start times between 00:00 and 15:00. Manual handling required for pulling cages, no hand ball is required. Ongoing temporary work. Minimum 8 hours paid per shift.
