Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers in Cannock for ongoing client requirements. As a Curtain-side Driver, you will handle straightforward warehouse to warehouse transfer work while ensuring safe transport of goods.

Ideal candidates will possess a HGV Class 1 license, a CPC Card, and have strong communication skills. Competitive pay rates are offered, with shifts Monday to Friday and weekend work available. Immediate starts are possible, presenting a great opportunity to join a supportive transport team.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Curtain-side Driver

Role includes straight-forward warehouse - warehouse transfer work.

Shifts:

7pm starts

Monday - Friday with weekend work available

Pay Rate:

£19 Mon- fri

£23 Sat

£24 Sun

Contract: Ongoing

Requirement:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between depots and industrial estates, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations - You will be driving box and curtainside trailers, there is no handball. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage paperwork and vehicle inspections are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a valid Class 1 license, CPC qualification, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
