Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for on-going client requirements based in Stoke and Stafford.

Pay rate £19 per hour, weekly paid, PAYE basis only. Contract: ongoing. You will transport goods safely, handle paperwork, and perform vehicle inspections with a focus on timely deliveries and customer service.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Digi Card.
• No more than 6 points, no DR codes.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Shifts: Shifts are available on an adhoc or ongoing basis to suit.

Pay Rate: £19 - Per Hour - Weekly Paid - this role is available on a PAYE basis only

Requirement:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between depots, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations - You will be driving box fridge trailers, there is no handball. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage paperwork and vehicle inspections are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a valid Class 1 licence, CPC qualification, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
