Job summary

Freeway Recruitment is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for immediate starts in and around Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield. Earn £16.00 per hour on days, with holidays accrued and weekly payouts. Registration is quick.

Requirements: full Class 1 licence held 12 months, max 6 points with no DR/IN etc, valid tachograph card and CPC. Excellent English, good timekeeping, and a professional appearance. On-site parking and company pension.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full Class 1 Licence for at least 12 months.
• No more than 6 points and no DR/DD/IN/CD endorsements.
• Tacho card valid and CPC Qualification in date.
• Adherence to Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Excellent time keeping and reliable attitude.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of UK road network.

****CALLING ALL HGV DRIVERS*** LEEDS, BRADFORD, WAKEFIELD

Freeway Recruitment are looking to hire Class 1 Drivers who want immediate starts based on registration.

We have clients in most Driving and logistics sectors ranging from but not limited to:

• Packaging
• Paper
• General Haulage
• Freight
• Manufacturing/engineering
• Retail
• Frozen/chilled
• Construction related
• Store to Home (2 person teams)

Role: Class 1 HGV C Driver

Shifts - Days Monday to Friday shifts available

Start times: 0530, 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730 onwards

For this role you must:

• Have a full and valid Class 1 Licence and have held this for a minimum of 12 months
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DR , DD , IN , CD or other endorsements that lead to a ban.
• A full and valid Tacho card and an in date valid CPC Qualification with card.

Requirements:

• Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
• Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
• Hold a flexible can do attitude to your work
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
• Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
• Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client

Pay

£16.00per hour (Holidays accrued) £17.93 (Holidays paid out).

In-House Paye - NO Umbrella/Payroll company. Holidays saved back or paid out each week
