Qualifications

• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.
• No DR10, CD10 or IN10 offences; max 6 points.

About the Role

Rapier Employment seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for a busy Bradford client, offering £18.57–£30.01 per hour on a full-time, temporary basis. This ongoing placement involves delivering to RDCs and stores, with manual handling of cages and tail lift work required. Candidates must perform vehicle checks and accept shifts including one weekend day. Day patterns start between 04:00 and 09:00, while night shifts begin from 15:00 to 21:00. Pay reaches overtime rates after eight hours, with a minimum of eleven paid hours from Friday to Monday. Reliable, physically capable drivers with valid Class 1 licences. Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Bradford. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
• Vehicle checks.
• Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.

Day Shifts

• Days: 04:00 – 09:00 starts.
• £18.57 per hour PAYE.
• Over time £27.85ph after 8 hours.
• Minimum of 11 hours paid Friday to Monday.

Night Shifts

• Nights: 15:00 – 21:00 starts.
• £20.01per hour PAYE.
• Over time £30.01ph after 8 hours.
• Minimum of 11 hours paid Friday to Monday.

The Ideal Candidate

• Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months.
• You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes.
• “Can do” attitude
• No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
