Job summary

Workchain is recruiting a permanent Class 1 Driver (Curtain Sider) for a role based in Belper, Derbyshire. The position offers £18.20 per hour with weekend overtime at £18.70 per hour and a permanent, full-time contract.

The driver will complete scheduled deliveries and collections, load/unload, perform vehicle checks, and uphold high safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are mandatory.
• Strong safety mindset and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (curtain sider) to complete scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure accuracy of paperwork.
