The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known, industry-leading client based in Barnsley. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join our team.

Shift Details

Hours: Choose your own shift times from 1300 until midnight.

Pay Rates

See below for PAYE rates:

• Afters: Monday to Thursday £16.87, Friday £17.60, Saturday £18.29, Sunday £18.61
• Nights: Monday to Thursday £17.59, Friday £18.10, Saturday £20.69, Sunday £21.96

The Role

• Trunking to one depot, ensuring timely and safe parcel deliveries.
• Reversing in the yard and maneuvering vehicles with precision.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies for safety.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and logistics teams for timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

• At least 3 months' HGV driving experience.
• Full UK driving license with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
• Successful completion of practical and theory assessments.
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
