Job summary

Driver Support Services are recruiting HGV Class 1 day drivers for our client in Tilbury, focusing on container distribution across Tilbury docks, Gateway, and Felixstowe. You will join a growing team delivering a reliable, professional service to customers.

Applicants should have an HGV Class 1 licence (ideally 2 years) and previous driving experience (2 years preferred). Experience with slider/splitter trailers is useful for load handling.

Driver Support Services are recruiting for HGV Class 1 day drivers to work for our client based in Tilbury working on container distribution.

You will be become an integral part of their expanding team providing an excellent and professional service to their customers. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, honest company that wants the best for our drivers and customers alike.

We are looking for ongoing drivers. Who have the same work ethic as we do We offer a wide range of work to suit most driver needs and can keep you busy

For this position you'll be required to use the Tillbury docks as well as Gateway and Felixstowe. Container experience is essential as you will need to know various parts of the ports in order to load and unload boxes. Other experience such as using a slider trailer and a splitter trailer would also be useful as you may need to know how to split a trailer of slide a trailer if you have a 20 foot box on.

What we require from you:
