Job summary

Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for Bilston-based work with a regular four-day week, Friday to Monday day shifts, and Tue–Thu off. Immediate starts available for reliable drivers on a leading poultry processing and food distribution account.

Shifts vary with early starts around 03:00 or 14:00–16:00 and typical lengths around 10 hours. Temp-to-perm opportunities exist based on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Minimum 12 month’s HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Good understanding of Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations and tachograph legislation

Responsibilities

• Complete 1 to 3 RDC deliveries or collections per shift
• Transport temperature-controlled products on nationwide routes
• Operate modern refrigerated trailers
• Adhere to schedule and maintain safety standards
