Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for an immediate start in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will deliver and collect aggregates to quarries and well-known retailers across the UK, handling 1–4 drops per day on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include pre-delivery vehicle checks and completing paperwork in line with company guidelines. Nights out pay £30 tax-free; hourly rate £18.00. This is a temporary position with ongoing assignments.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E driving licence required.
• UK CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 1 year on licence with 180 days of commercial driving experience.

HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE – Tramping and day work available

Our client is a family run transport and logistics company that specialise in transportation of aggregates. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivery and collection of aggregate products to and from quarries as well as well-known trade retailers. You will be required to complete 1-4 drops per day, tracing Monday to Friday throughout the whole UK.

All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Location: Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Duration: This is an on-going temporary contract.

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour. Nights out paid at £30.00 tax free

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times around 05:00 each day. Tramping and day work both available.
