Job summary

Drivers Plus Limited in Leeds is recruiting for a Night HGV Class 1 Driver to work on container runs with start times between 16:00 and 18:00 and shifts lasting approximately 10–12 hours. Deliveries to ports, iPorts, and warehouses are included, with trunking work and no handball required.

This role offers £16.95–£19.00 per hour PAYE, weekly pay, holiday pay, pension auto-enrolment after 12 weeks, and opportunities for ongoing, part-time and temp-to-perm work with dedicated support from the

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid CE Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• A satisfactory employment reference covering the previous 2 years.
• Good communication skills.
• Container experience is preferred but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Container work with approx 1–3 drops per shift.
• Deliveries to ports, iPorts and warehouses.
• Trunking work.
• Shifts start between 16:00 and 18:00 and are ~10–12 hours.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.

Drivers Plus are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Container Drivers to work for our client based in the LS10 area.

Container experience is preferred, but training can be provided for experienced Class 1 drivers.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional and reliable drivers looking for regular night work, with ongoing, part-time and potential temp-to-perm opportunities available.

The Role

• £19.00 per hour
• Start times between 16:00 and 18:00

What We're Looking For

We are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Night Drivers who have:
