Job summary

Wren Kitchens Limited is hiring for a Transport night-shift role to support our delivery operations across the UK. You will operate company vehicles safely and perform daily vehicle checks, reporting faults as required.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year HGV experience, a valid C+E license with ≤6 penalty points, and up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with strong UK geography knowledge.

Critical purpose of role

• To ensure fleet compliance and health and safety standards are adhered to and continuously improved
• To adhere to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations

Main responsibilities

• Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities.
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your transport office team.
• Take full responsibility of operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
• Please note that this role is working nights.

About You

Relevant qualifications & experience

• More than 1-year experience in HGV driving
• Hold a valid C+E Driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
• Holds an up to date Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
