Job summary

Staffline is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 night drivers for our Sherburn-in-Elmet site. You will deliver to RDCs across local and regional routes, with night shifts starting 21:00–01:00 and guaranteed 8 hours per shift.

We offer a £1,000 sign-on bonus, 28 days of holiday, 24/7 support, and weekly pay. You must have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, 12 months experience, a Tachograph card, and clean penalty points to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card must be held.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience reversing and manoeuvring articulated vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Night shifts with start times between 21:00 and 01:00.
• Store and RDC deliveries.
• Typically 1 run per shift (occasionally 2).
• Local and regional routes.
• Safe vehicle operation and driver hours regulations compliance.

Job description

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking for consistent night work and excellent earning potential?

We're recruiting professional Class 1 Night Drivers to work from our site in Sherburn-in-Elmet, delivering to RDCs across local and regional routes.

What's on Offer?

• Night rate: £23.32 per hour
• Overtime: Up to £34.98 per hour
• Weekend rates up to £44.52 per hour
• 8 hours guaranteed per shift
• Average 10-hour shifts

Working Patterns; 5 out 7 days

Starting times: 21:00 - 01:00

PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:

• £1000 SIGN ON BONUS (after hours worked - please ask us for more details)

Your Time at Work
