Job summary

Driver Hire Croydon & Sutton is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our client in the Croydon area. Expect 3–6 drops per day, delivering shovel-loaded food waste to three regular sites.

Shifts start early, 04:00–05:00, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and regular routes. We offer reliable pay and support from a long-standing transport agency.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E licence required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Driver CPC Card required.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Make 3–6 drops per day delivering shovel-loaded food waste to landfill.
• Maintain timely routes with regular sites.

Job description

HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver

We are seeking an additional Cat C+E (HGV Class 1) driver for one of our customers based in the Croydon area. Between 3 and 6 drops a day, taking shovel loaded food waste to landfill at three regular sites.

Minimum 10 hour day paid @ £20 per hour.

As a HGV Class 1 driver you must have:

• UK Category C+E licence
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver CPC Card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• There may be some restrictions for insurance purposes (please phone for details).

The successful HGV Class 1 (C+E)

• 04:00 to 05:0 0 start Monday - Friday
• Occasional Saturday
• Regular routes.
