Driver Hire Exeter is recruiting HGV Class 1 / LGV Cat C+E drivers for Exeter and surrounding areas. Expect varied start times with work across multidrop, tramping, trunking, and long-distance assignments.

Pay starts at £16.00 per hour PAYE plus £1.93 holiday pay, totaling £17.93 per hour on PAYE Advanced. We offer flexible full-time, part-time or ADHOC arrangements to suit you.

• HGV Class 1 / LGV Cat C+E licence is essential.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards are required.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1/ LGV Cat C+E driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• No DR, DD or IN penalties due to insurance policies.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 1 / LGV Cat C+E Drivers

We are working with a variety of businesses across Exeter and surrounding areas, looking for HGV Class 1 / LGV Cat C+E drivers.

As a C+E Driver you must:

• Have a valid HGV Class 1/ LGV Cat C+E licence
• Have valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards
• Candidates must have at least 12 months HGV Class 1/ LGV Cat C+E driving experience
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• No DR, DD and IN penalties accepted due to insurance policy restrictions

C+E Driver responsibilities include:

• Nature of work and start times will vary depending on the client
• Anything from multidrop, tramping, trunking, long distance and ADHOC covering sickness and holidays
• Starting times could be AM or PM
• This can be either Full-time, Part-time or ADHOC, you chose!

The successful C+E Driver can expect:

• Pay rate starts at £16.00 per hour on PAYE Accrued
• Plus £1.93 per hour holiday pay
• This equates to £17.93 per hour on PAYE Advanced
• You can choose which model suits you best
