Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for AM and PM shifts across the Rushden area. Enjoy a rotating rota with ongoing opportunities and a straightforward drop/swab trailer task profile. Training provided where needed.

Applicants should have CPC and Digi card, with up to 6 points, and be willing to cover weekend shifts. Immediate starts available, with routes spanning Wellingborough, Kettering, Rushden and surrounding towns.

Qualifications

• 2 years' HGV experience with CPC and Digi card
• Max 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/IN10 offences
• Flexible to cover Saturdays or Sundays or both
• Experience with bulkers/trailer operations is an advantage but not required

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 AM/PM shifts on a rotating rota
• Drop & swap trailers, easy operations
• Weekend shifts may be required; 7 days operation

HGV Class 1 AM & PM £23.53

Rushden Based client easy work requires Day & Night Drives

Bulker or RoRo experience an advantage but not necessary training provided.

PM Roles available- Ongoing on a Rota – No cancellations 18.00

AM Roles available- Ongoing on a Rota – No cancellations 06.00

Temp to perm also available for the right candidates.

Bulk Tippers and waking floor trailer operations – training provided

Drop & swapping trailers easy work 1 – 2 per day

Client requires either a Saturday PM or Sunday PM to be covered or both.

Alternatively you may work any block of shifts covering the weekend IE Wed – Sun

Client can also accommodate Adhoc / Part Time weekend cover both days or Friday – Monday

Monday – Friday PM £21.00 p/h + Holiday = £23.53 P/h PAYE

Monday – Friday AM £20.00 P/h + Holiday = £22.41 P/h PAYE

Weekends £23.00 P/h + Holiday = £25.76 per hr PAYE

Immediate Starts

The operation is 7 days per week so client can offer an accommodating shift pattern

Applicants must be able to cover weekend shifts RE Saturdays or both,

Flexible weekly shift patterns covering weekends can be accommodated.

Will accept drivers for Sat or Sun or 6 shifts any combo considered

Applicants must have 2 years’ experience with current CPC and DIGI card

Maximum 6 points for minor offences – NO DDs DRs IN10s
