Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver based in Widnes, Cheshire. The role involves driving CE vehicles, completing North West deliveries, loading/unloading, and maintaining daily vehicle checks with a focus on safety and customer service.

We offer an excellent hourly rate, weekly pay, ongoing work with a leading transport company, and a Monday-to-Friday pattern with weekends free. Training and first-day induction are provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A valid ADR Licence.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsements).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Completing between two and four deliveries per day across the North West.
• Loading and unloading vehicles, including handball duties where required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location.
• Reporting delivery issues or customer concerns to the transport team.
• Completing all delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records accurately.
• Complying with all ADR, Driver Hours, and road transport regulations.

HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver - Widnes, Cheshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, ongoing work, and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading transport and logistics company.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver or Tanker Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £19.00 per hour
• £25.00 night out allowance per night

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 05:00 and 06:00
• Regular nights out required
