Job summary

Unitruc Ltd is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Night Driver for our contract with Kuehne and Nagel at East Midlands Gateway. You will drive on contract, handle ADR deliveries where required, and work night shifts with overtime opportunities.

Expect a guaranteed 48-hour week with paid overtime, weekly pay, and a structured benefits package. Training will be provided as needed to get you settled and compliant with CPC, tachograph, and ADR requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have HGV Class 1 license and current CPC card.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• ADR license preferred; training provided for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ADR deliveries as required and coordinate with customers.
• Operate as a contract driver for the client with minimal supervision.
• Maintain safe driving standards and accurate tachograph records.
• Work night shifts with overtime opportunities when available.

HGV Class 1 ADR Night Driver (Kuehne and Nagel Contract):

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Kuehne + Nagel, East Midlands Gateway

Working Hours: Shifts based on a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week. Plus, overtime and nights out for additional earnings.

Salary: £47,424 per annum (£912 per week + overtime)

The Role – HGV Class 1 Night Driver

• This HGV Night Driver role involves working directly for our customers, on contract.
• Our client will be your point of contact for all operational and trailer issues. Any vehicle or other work-related issues are dealt by us directly.
• We give training where necessary to familiarise you with the role and bed you into the job.
• These HGV roles are independent and are ideal for driver’s that like to think for themselves.
• ADR deliveries will be a part of this job, so applicants who already hold their ADR license will be prioritised. An ADR licence is required for this role, though we will provide training to the right candidates.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
• A valid HGV license.
• A valid Digital tacho.
• Up to date CPC Card.
• A current ADR license preferable, all classes except 1&7
