Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Tramping Driver to join a Manchester-based client. The role offers regular night out payments, weekly pay, and long-term progression within a supportive transport team.

Shifts are Mon-Fri with starts from 6:00am. You will drive Class 1 tanker vehicles, perform inspections, and ensure timely, safe deliveries. ADR, CPC, and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence.
• Minimum of six months Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid ADR Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting goods to customer and client sites.
• Operate and drive Class 1 Tanker vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre and post vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Adhere to traffic laws, ADR regulations, and company procedures.
• Complete paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with transport office and customers.
• Report vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Tramping Driver to join our well-established client based in Manchester. Essential Skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience
• Previous ADR driving experience would be advantageous
• Previous tanker driving experience would be beneficial
