Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers for trunking and multi-drop duties at Islip, Thrapston or Corby depots. Roles offer flexible shifts, with a guaranteed 8-hour minimum and a £500 bonus after six weeks of service.

Class 1 earns £17.45–£23.47 per hour and Class 2 £17.19–£18.91 per hour, with requirements including a valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC and Tachograph card, plus 1–2 years of driving experience and a clean record.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC card and Tachograph card.
• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record (max 6 points, no major endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Transport loads securely between retail stores and depot locations.
• Operate trunking and multi-drop routes with flexibility in shifts.
