Job summary

HG Recruitment is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 trunk driver based in Rushden. Ongoing regular shifts with afternoon starts, 16:00–18:00, depot-to-depot trunking and approximately 2 drops per shift.

Expect competitive pay, weekly wages and holiday-inclusive rates. You must have a UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and a clean licence with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• 2 years experience on Class 1.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Depot to Depot trunking.
• Approximately 2 drops per shift/up to 12 hour shifts.
• Start times between 1600 and 1800.
• No handball - trunking work only.
• Ongoing regular work shifts.

• Days £18.00ph accrued - £20.71ph inclusive
• Nights £19.0ph accrued - £21.86ph inclusive
• Weekend £20.0ph accrued - £24.16ph inclusive
• Overtime after 10 hours £19.00ph accrued – £21.86ph inclusive

***Estimated weekly pay £1129.30 based on 55 hrs holiday inclusive***
