Yusen Logistics in Derby is seeking reliable Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our automotive logistics operation. You will complete scheduled milk runs, ensuring deliveries and collections are safe, on time, and performed with a focus on road safety.

Work is Monday to Friday with the same route each shift, offering a predictable pattern and no handballing. The role emphasises punctuality, independence, and professional conduct when dealing with customers.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C+E driving licence (over 1 year).
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled automotive milk runs following delivery and collection requirements.
• Transport loads safely and securely.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
• Follow driving regulations, road safety requirements and company procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork where required.
• Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled milk runs within the automotive industry, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

You'll benefit from driving the same route each shift, giving you the opportunity to become familiar with your journey and enjoy a more consistent working routine.

What We Offer

£17.73 per hour for day shifts.

Monday to Friday working pattern.

No handballing involved - allowing you to focus on driving and completing your scheduled runs.

Advance notice of shift changes - shift times may vary slightly from week to week, but any changes will be communicated a couple of weeks in advance.
