Job summary

Yusen Logistics in Derby is seeking reliable Class 1 (C+E) drivers for our automotive logistics operation. You will complete milk runs, deliver and collect safely, and benefit from a consistent route with no handballing.

Operate daytime shifts at £17.73 per hour, Monday to Friday, with advance notice of shift changes. Join an established logistics provider in the automotive sector and drive the same route each shift.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C+E driving licence with over 1 year experience.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• Ability to follow scheduled routes and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled automotive milk runs according to delivery and collection requirements.
• Transport loads safely and securely.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
• Follow driving regulations, road safety requirements and company procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork where required.
• Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.

Yusen Logistics is looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our automotive logistics operation in Derby.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled milk runs within the automotive industry, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

You'll benefit from driving the same route each shift, giving you the opportunity to become familiar with your journey and enjoy a more consistent working routine.
